Shelly Brisbin writes about new media, cocktails, technology, and the world around her
September 18, 2010 – Hey Shelly: what do you read when you’re not reading media criticism, thoughtful political blogs, cocktail sites, and Icanhazcheezburger?
THIS.
September 17, 2010 – As a non-football fan, I love reading these bits each week. Texas Tech fans, BTW, are famous for having yanked their own goal post out of the ground to celebrate a win.
September 17, 2010 – Watched this with my mom when I was a kid. I even remember the organ/globe opening. DON’T JUDGE ME!

September 16, 2010 – Ms. O’Donnell has already found her way into pop culture, including not a few Facebook status updates from friends of mine who don’t follow politics. September 13, 2010 – Why anyone still listens to Newt Gingrich is beyond me.
September 12, 2010 – I have a question: Is it ever a “fairytale” win for a male player? Because I’m pretty sure Miss Clijsters worked her ass off to achieve victory.
September 12, 2010 – GREAT hurricane name. Austin just got flooded by Hermine, and bypassed by Earl. Igor would make far better headlines.
September 12, 2010 – Probably in the category of things only I am interested in. but still…
September 11, 2010 – This trend has bothered me for awhile now.

September 10, 2010 – I love stories like these. Random questions that often occur to me.
September 10, 2010 – I rarely go to google.com. Don’t most people use the search bar in their browsers?
September 9, 2010 – Lately I’ve taken to reading Apple commentary both from the tech press, and from the members of the press who appear to be more watchful over freedom of expression. I find the mix is intellectually interesting, and I highly recommend it.
