November 18, 2010 – I’m looking for a good term to describe this phenomenon. At the moment I’m calling it “sound bite salad”. It’s when someone uses an inflammatory word which subsequently causes everyone who hears/writes about it to go insane. Not applicable here, really, but extra points for complete lack of context.
