June 7, 2011 – I don’t follow stand-up comedy much, but if I were still writing about podcasting (sigh) I would be doing features about how the medium has become a boon for stand-up comics and radio people. And I would talk about hos this development has gotten a lot of new people to listen to podcasts who never did during what we producers like to think of as the golden years.
June 7, 2011 – Look, the dude is a liar. He’s been caught making stuff up, and editing selectively more than once. Getting a story right, or partially right does not
mean you have earned RRSPECT. Media self-reflection isn’t warranted for scumbags who get lucky.
June 6, 2011 – I never want to see the words “shirtless Weiner pic” again. I don’t think I’m alone in that.
June 6, 2011 – At the Alamo, where you need to arrive early to get a good seat, your compensation is that the pre-movie ad/trailer/announcement fest is actually quite entertaining. And there’s beer!

June 6, 2011 – I don’t watch a lot of this stuff, but I notice three things about this screen cap that are uncommented upon by the author. 1) Isn’t “tracking the movements…” a super-weird way to discuss campaign coverage? 2) Too much stuff on that screen in all caps. 3) How old is the anchor, and does she, um, have any journalism credentials? Now I’m being super-shallow on this last one, I realize, but wow.
