June 16, 2011 – Conservative hosts take money from right-wing advocacy groups. That was news to me, and the Politico article is worth reading, but this CJR piece flushes out a couple of interesting points about the overall political media landscape.
June 16, 2011 – I think the better question would be: which holiday is a bigger deal in most families? in mine, it was always Mother’s Day, especially since dad was impossible to buy for. In any case, neither holiday was a big gift-giving day for us. One parent did not buy the other parent a gift, as seems to be common now, for example. You buy your dad a gift, not your husband!
