I said then that this device is not for people with the kind of disposable income and new technology lust that makes the iPad a third wheel in their lives. It’s for a lot of people for whom the iPad, and tablets generally, fill a tool need in their homes or offices.

January 19, 2011 – This was a major struggle at Blogger & Podcaster. I wanted to re-magine the traditional FOB sections, especially the News hole, but our publisher wouldn't have it. Even in 2007-2008, the traditional FOB felt anachronistic, and hopelessly out of pace with the new media world.
January 19, 2011 – I think one of blogging’s real strength’s as a journalistic tool is its ability to facilitate comprehensiveness. Space limitations and perceived differences in the importance of certain stories in a category tend to push some to the top, leaving others uncovered.
